Hi there!

My name is Neven Đuranec, freelance frontend developer (janitor) from Zagreb, Croatia.

I have over 20 years of experience in the field and I'm well T shaped. I love doing accessibility & performance improvements and site audits.

I'm a perfectionist & I never give up, learning on a daily basis, proactive, father, husband and everything in between.

I took a web design course at POU in 2004. That introduced me to a world of web and design.

After the course I was given an opportunity to teach other people — for a couple of semesters.

Started as a junior at Human (formerly web.burza) in Zagreb. Worked with PHP, jQuery, WordPress, Symfony, CSS (OOCSS, BEM, Atomic), Webpack and more.

Won MIXX awards 4 years in a row: zadovoljna.hr (2014), podravka.hr (2015), rtl.hr (2016), lino.eu (2017).

After a short time at Trikoder working on Njuškalo, decided to open my own business.

Primarily working for Eventure LTD on hide.me VPN — main brand site, WP blog & support, browser extension, vue.js checkout, and more.

Also: large-scale Angular app for Cirtuo, standalone Vue.js applications, headless Next.js migration.
